About MTGpile

MTGpile is a pile of information, data, and tools for players of 60-card constructed Magic: The Gathering formats.

Key features

• MTGO and in-person tournament results.
• In-person tournament analytics, insights, and win matrices.
• Easily accessible MTGO / MTGA / set-release / major-tournament event calendar.
• Mobile support. Made to look and work as well on a phone as it does on a desktop.
• Speed. MTGpile is a static website, meaning all information is served on an HTML page with no backing server / slow load times. This also limits what the site is able to do - we lack the ability to have user accounts or user-created content (like decklists).

  • Arena C/U Set Import - Copy a Magic Arena-importable 4-of list of a set's commons or uncommons to accelerate vault progress as you open a set.
  • Arena vs MTGO Cube - A card-for-card comparison of the latest Arena Powered Cube and the MTGO Vintage Cube.
  • Banned & Restricted List - Every card currently banned or restricted in each Magic format, with the date and reasoning behind each ban.
  • Deck Diff - Compare two decklists side by side and highlight every card that is different between them.
  • Deck Legality Checker - Paste a decklist to see each card's legality in constructed formats, and if they are on Magic Arena.
  • Decks with New Cards - View recent decklists running cards from the newest set.
  • Eternal Formats on Arena - View how much of each eternal format (Modern, Legacy, Pauper) is on the MTG Arena client.
  • Historic Pauper Decklists - Meta MTGO Pauper decklists you can build on MTG Arena for Historic Pauper events.
  • Sideboard Guide Generator - Turn your mainboard/sideboard into a printable, per-matchup sideboard plan.
  • Single Order Generator - Scroll a set card by card, pick quantities of the exact printings you want, and generate an order on a number of card vendor websites.

What features are you working on?

Some of the features and improvements on the roadmap:

• Adding Timeless/Historic decklists.
• Adding more card images to the website.
• Adding card prices.
• Some cleanup items regarding how the site is built / updated regularly.
• Making sure deck archetype names function as expected.
• Iterating on initial feedback from users of the site.
